Secret Ramzan Walk #4: Yusuf Tekri

Yusuf Tekri is a historic locality on the Old Bombay Highway, now enroute Tolichowki. It is best known for the dozens of eateries and food stalls through out the year. However, Ramzan festivities make Yusuf Tekri as the go-to destination for trying Ramzan special foods like Pathar ka Gosht, kebabs, shamis, the Marag and the showstopper - Hyderabadi Haleem!

We will be eating a little bit in many places - so the total amount of food will be equivalent to a meal. Wear comfortable walking shoes, preferably covered. Bring an umbrella if you can - if there is a sudden rain it will be useful.

We will be walking in places frequented by locals - so it will be crowded and noisy. Be prepared mentally for that. We will keep away from the crowd wherever possible.
