Paigah Palaces of Shah Gunj: Map Walk

Do you love old maps? Would you like to see how our neighbourhoods changed through the years as we walk through them using century old maps across the precinct of Shah Gunj, which is home to the fabled Khurshed Jah and Iqbal ud Doulah Deodis. We will also be walking the route of the historic Langar procession that dates back to the 16th century!

Walk starting point: Mahbub Chowk Clock Tower Park

Walk duration: 2 hours

Meeting time: 7 AM; please try to be the meeting point atleast 10 mins earlier than the walk time.

Please wear caps/scarfs and shoes to protect yourself from the sun. Carry a water bottle and stay hydrated at all times.
