Golconda Hidden Trail: Patancheru Darwaza

The  Monsoon heritage trek in the Golconda Fort is a unique and   off-the-beaten-path experience. While the main areas of the fort are   well-known and often crowded with tourists, the hidden heritage walk   takes you to some of the lesser-known areas of the fort that are often   overlooked by visitors.

During the hidden heritage walk, a guide will take you to parts of   the fort that are not normally open to the public, such as historic   connections, large cannons, and majestic bastions. You will learn about   the history of the fort and the role that these hidden areas played in   its defense and daily life.

It is a great way to learn about the fort's past and to see parts of the fort that are not normally open to the public. The walk includes hiking for a significant part of the walk.

Walk duration: 150 mins (3kms appx)

Guidelines: Carry an umbrella/caps/scarves to protect yourself from   the son. Please wear comfortable shoes with a good grip, carry a bottle  of water (and/or)  light snacks.

Wear full sleeves to avoid getting scratched while walking through the trail.
