About the event
On September 28, 1908, Hyderabad woke up to the sounds of a thunderstorm, as the river overflowed, engulfing half the city. The catastrophic flood resulted in the loss of 15,000 lives and displaced countless others, marking a pivotal moment in Hyderabad's 20th-century history. Join us to explore this tragic event, infamously known as the Tughyani flood.
